The pupils have been encouraged to think about other people this week. Remembrance assemblies provided the opportunity to reflect on the suffering undergone by so many people in our armed forces and also the everyday people whose lives have been devastated by war.
School uniform has been abandoned today in aid of Children In Need. Pupils chose the theme of Blast from the Past and as a result our classes have been filled with hippies and pirates to name but a few. The theme chosen for staff was Scary People and it was quite a shock to walk into a staffroom full of zombies, vampires and witches this morning! Well done to everyone for the fabulous effort made for this excellent cause.
We have also been collecting food items as part of our Harvest Festival Celebrations. All items collected are donated to the people at Plas Bellin.
Many thanks again to all who have contributed to this annual event.
